Two bedroom residence; remodeling, space plan, color and lighting for urban homeowner. All floors and ceilings, as well as bathrooms, were replaced. The kitchen was gutted and remodeled to create a more open feeling. Cabinetry was handcrafted and custom fit around state of the art appliances. The new island was enveloped with stone. Under cabinet lighting, new fixtures and furniture completes the modern look.
1896 loft features exposed brick, cedar beams and cast iron fixtures. I remodeled the space to expand functionality by adding private rooms separated by sliding translucent glass doors. Indigenous limestone was chosen for the central eight-foot kitchen island, stone hearth and window sills. Reclaimed timber was used for the mantel and incorporated throughout; for closet shelving and kitchen shelving. The two-story living area features a modern chandelier and can be viewed from the sliding translucent window in the upstairs bedroom. Custom forged stained glass bannister railings on the stairs match the guard railing on the second level.
Interior design; remodeling, space plan, custom furniture design, art placement and decor for Gold Coast Greystone. The fireplace in the main room was custom made from marble and surrounded by custom wood columns and lighted shelving. I refinished the four story wood bannister to complement dark hardwood flooring, chose a neutral gray paint color palette, and selected gold leaf for two tray ceilings.
